Account Deletion

Last updated: August 1, 2026

This page explains how to request deletion of your PulseForm account and account-owned cloud data, and — separately — what each more specific, smaller control actually does. Most people looking for this page only need one of the smaller controls below, not full account deletion.

Before requesting full account deletion

These five actions are available in the app right now and take effect immediately. None of them delete your account:

  • Signing out ends only your session on that device. Your account and data are unaffected.
  • Turning off Performance History stops future training-record syncing. Records already saved to Firestore are not deleted by this alone.
  • Turning off Cloud Sync stops future backups of your authored Lanes and Presets. An existing backup is not deleted by this alone.
  • Deleting one training record removes a single completed run from Command's Recent Runs, on this device and in the cloud.
  • Deleting your Cloud Backup removes your Optional Cloud Backup only — it does not touch Performance History records or your account.

How to request full account deletion

In the PulseForm app, go to your Account settings and choose Request Account Deletion. This prepares a pre-filled email to containing your account ID and email, for you to review and send. If you'd rather not use that in-app flow, you can email directly from the address on your account and state that you want your PulseForm account deleted.

What happens after you submit a request

Account deletion is reviewed by a person and is not instant — sending the request does not delete anything by itself. Once reviewed:

  • Your Firebase Authentication identity and account-owned cloud information — your Performance History records and Cloud Backup — are deleted.
  • If you belong to a PulseForm Organization, your organization membership and any shared Small Group Tracker information may require additional administrative review before it can be removed, since that data may be shared with or relied on by others in your organization.
  • Local records already stored on your own device are not deleted as part of this process unless you separately request that and it's supported for your situation — we will confirm the exact scope with you before completing the request.
